Artisan Outdoors is really just me, Mara Anderson. Hello! I have over 20 years experience with landscaping, these last five years or so specializing in native plants. Once I understood the emergency situation we are facing, there was no going back. Plus, there is no better way to support nature than with nature.
My mission is to transform your outdoor space into a native plant sanctuary that reflects your personality and values, while creating such a gorgeous display that people ask you how you did it. Birds, butterflies and future generations will thank you.

They were great. Mara (owner) is a pleasure to work with and her crew is great. They are all hard working and got the job done in timely manner. They put in the rock retaining walls and planted new flowering gardens on the slope surrounding the house and redid the entire front of the house including all new planting (Mara's design) with a new walkway plus new sod lawn. All the planting were native plants so they should not need much watering but attract butterflies and humming birds. Mara knows all the native plants and where they will thrive. She also knows the invasive plants to avoid. We really enjoyed her vision of the yard and common sense approach. I would recommend her without hesitation.
Description of Work: Landscaped the whole front yard of our house and build retaining walls of stone on the side slope.
The crew arrived on time and performed the work quickly. It looks great. The year before she did our front yard and transformed it plus planted beds on the side of the house with stone walkway. I liked it that she could take care of everything with one person including landscaping and hardscaping . She has in-depth knowledge of all the local plants which is what we were looking for. We have her come once a week to weed etc.
Description of Work: Mara and her crew landscaped the backyard with mulch and trees. New year she will add flowering plants. She did the landscape design and installation. Excellent work.
